The basic entry point for admission in Overseas Pakistanis Boys College is Class-I. The admission in class-I is made through admission test. The children are tested by the committee. The tests are normally conducted in the months on February/March every year. The admission in classes II-IX are made on the basis of internal test conducted by the Controller of Examination. Admission is granted to those students who qualify and come up to the merit. Admission in F.Sc. (First Year) class is granted purely on merit basis on the marks obtained in Secondary School Examination.
Application for registration prescribed forms attached at the end of the prospectus is invited by the institution on due dates. Admission is granted in accordance with the policy promulgated by the Board of Governors, on the basis of merit ONLY. Names of the candidates seeking admission to various classes are registered with the institution and the date of tests are displayed on Notice Board. Tests are administered only for the classes where vacancies exist. Tests cover following subjects: Class II-IV English, Urdu, MATHS. Class V-VIII English, Urdu, MATHS, Gen. Science Class IX and above English, Urdu, MATHS, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Studies. Candidates are required to pass all the subjects with 40% qualifying marks to come up to the merit. After the tests, merit lists are maintained which are valid only for 4 weeks. Names of selected candidates and those placed on waiting lists are displayed on the notice board and admission formalities are to be completed within the time period specified.
